Doublestar is, in fact, a very old company, although their tire enterprise has only just started. Their tires are, like many other Chinese products, very affordable. However, contrary to the usual lack of quality in such ‘affordable’ products, Doublestar tires are very well-done.
They are in the ‘affordable’ category, that’s clear. They sell at a pretty average price for a Chinese tire, which is to say, substantially lower than the European or American rubbers. Simultaneously, they provide great comfort and performance.
There are several types of them, and they differ in cost and effectiveness, but not a single one of them is bad. Surprisingly still, Doublestars are very sturdy and can withstand very hard areas of terrain without sustaining any sort of damage to their integrity.
They handle well and are very soft, which contributes to the smooth driving even at a very fast velocity. The traction may suffer, but not too significantly (definitely not bad for this price category).
Lastly, they provide a lot of comfort. That’s often underestimated by the lower standard manufacturers during production, but Doublestar doesn’t seem to be a lower standard company.
Finally, even though they are very cheap, Doublestars won’t disappoint you under most circumstances.
