Linglong is a major Chinese brand, and their namesake company has a lot to say about the market, being in business for more than 40 years. It doesn’t save them from making mistakes, but these tires are fair in most scenarios.
Who makes Linglong tires? Linglong tires are made exclusively by their namesake owners located in Shandong area of China. They have a lot of facilities throughout the country and Asia.
A lot of their products aren’t very cheap. They aren’t Michelin-grade in cost, but they are somewhere in-between the tires from the big European companies and what you usually expect from the Chinese manufacturers.
For this price, you get a fairly good grip. It holds in most situations, although an excessively wet ground can sometimes make you slip (especially on cheaper Linglong tires).
They tend to shake and vibrate a lot, because these tires are often balanced very poorly during manufacturing. Checking if they’re balanced correctly will solve a lot of your problems right off the bat.
When it comes to longevity, it can vary. They are naturally tough, but contact with obstacles, debris and poor roads kills them too quickly. It’s unadvised to buy them if you can’t maintain a safe journey.
These tires have a lot of flaws, and if the price was a little lower, buying them would be much more rational. But you can really find better tires at a lower cost.
